is there a place where can send international mail?

Featured Replies

Is there a place in Pattaya or jomtien where I can mail a letter to the US?

I know about DHS on 2nd road but are there any others?

Post office?....google "post office central pattaya" and you will get a list.

I would expect there are also mail shops, as here in Bangkok, that will provide such service - but if like the one I use very slow as normally takes 2 weeks to US (but always arrives).

I use the post office in Jomtien soi 5, down the road from Immigration. They speak decent English and I've never had anything sent from there fail to reach its destination.

I would think any postal service place can do that.

Postal services in Pattaya

I have used Boakoaw Express Postal Service in the past. Ask for EMS service, trackable and cheaper than FedEx and DHL.

I have used the Post Office in Nakeua, just near the market, on a number of occasions without any problems.

Different shipment options available.

EMS (incl, registered / airmail) should do it,

If you are in need of an express courier (bloody expensive): different story.

There are post offices in Naklua, on Soi Post office near the beach, and on soi 5 in Jomtien. Most of the shopping malls have mailing service desks that will also accept letters to be sent by the post office, including their excellent EMS service or by the courier services if you want it sent quickly.

With P.O. EMS service or couriers, you'll get a tracking number you can use to see where the item is at any time. Registered mail will only show tracking up to the airport in Bangkok.

The PO is cheap and also provides a tracking service for 111 Baht for a letter. Just sent one Thursday. Normally takes 10 days.

yes there is .... they are usually red coloured shops and they are called Post Offices ....

they send mail all over the world and can be found in most towns ........coffee1.gif
