Prior to setting off on a deep water cruise I alway ensure I have a full stock of Donkey Cheese. It's certainly worth the extra baht to buy the matured variety.

Never buy the budget version. A 99 baht per kilo it's tempting but very bitter.

Khun Toad, Many Armies around the world utilise this very cheese in their ration packs-it reduces the amount of times they need to use the bum gun. Possibly contact them to see where they source it from.
