Get your facts right, 150th A380 delivered to Etihad dec 16th 2014, 317 orders.

151th delivered to Emirates (57th) dec 22nd.

I have 4 trips booked on A380 between BKK and Doha and 4 on B787 all in J, will report back on which is the niciest to fly.

And you can not compare a B787 with an A380, but that you did know isn't?

Why are there so many cynical people on TV.?

A350 modern airplane equaly as good if not better than any boeing plane.

If it is not American its rubbish some people think.

Remember Concord? because it was not American, it took years before the yanks allowed it to fly to America.

No American airline would order it.

Now Airbus is giving Boeing a run for there money Yanks are not happy.

The Concorde was a white elephant, a money loser that was too expensive to maintain and fly as well as creating noise pollution, which is why it was prohibited from flying within the US. An utter folly.

Well if that's the case why was Branson so keen to take it off BA's hands and keep flying it?

Comparing the 787 and A380 is rubbish, they are competing for two markets...

The A380 is competing with the 747, and winning a big market share, Airbus confirmed orders for 20 A380's compared to Boeing's 2 747s last year.

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/791775-boeing-delivered-723-commercial-airplanes-in-2014/?p=8937655

Lets see how the A350 competes with the 787 and when the extended A350 hits the market in 2017 how it will hit 777 sales too.

I don’t care whether it’s an American plane or a European plane. But I have anxiety about flying in plastic planes.

Warnings about the possible safety risks of composite materials in aircraft construction have been issued by a number of engineers and experts, and by no less reliable a source than the Canadian Transportation Safety Board.

Nice looking copy of a 787 Dreamliner.......... Interesting to see Airbus

quietly moving away from the A380, a failed concept.

Both planes were in development for a good 10 years before going into production. Both changed in design and appearance over that time. The 787 is much more different to the original concept plane than the A350.

The A380 is a great plane, but in a limited market.

Looks similar to a 787 but with a380's noisy flap actuators

I was waiting for it to stall because of its faulty pitot tubes.

Airbus passengers are either clapping at the end of the ride because they're surprised they made it OR THEY are screaming in sheer terror whilst their pilots fight the planes computer for control.

?

Said in jest? Or else the comments are nonsence
