Urgent help required

I don't like leaving my topic titles so vague, but I really need to find out where I can obtain a current mode PWM controller model AP3842.

It's for an electronic bike that the inlaws own and needs to be obtained post haste to get them off my back. I don't expect anyone on this board to know if a shop carries that particular model, but someone should be able to point me to where I can go and browse for it...right? Kind of like a Radio Shack or Frys (for those from USA). Preferred location of said shop is Nakhon Sawan or BKK areas.

Thanks.

I assume you mean just the IC. That is a fairly dated IC and probably no longer manufactured. Digikey, Mouser, Elements and RS don't show it.

Amorn is the nearest Thai equiv. to Radio Shack:

If no luck there, you could try to find an equivalent at RS (online only though):

I called up amorngroup already; 'no jab'.

Prefer a local pickup.

Thanks none the less.

Thanks, would like to get it locally. Mouser was one site I looked at; obviously out of stock so I thought I'd pick the forum's collective brains.

I don't know much about electric bikes but found this company located at Tesco ...

however these are complete bikes ...

Just a thought ...
