kkerry Posted January 16, 2015 Share Posted January 16, 2015 If you're not using HP service, then be careful obtaining a replacement board elsewhere, even the exact same model, as in the past HP have tied their installation of Windows to the motherboard installed in your computer. If the connections e.g. PSU etc. are not proprietary, then a new motherboard from ASRock etc. with a new copy of Windows might work out cheaper. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
