Thailand Gun laws

Featured Replies

Does anyone have any information regarding legality of handguns in Thailand? Also, what about the usage of guns to provide for self defense, i.e home invasion. If someone enters your home in Thailand and you shoot them are you still criminally liable (im sure if you are falang they will find someway to spin it make you look like the guilty party? A friend of mine got knocked out by a group of Thais, totally unprovoked...as a licensed pistol owner in the UNited States, I would have shot those two boys as it was happening had it happened in the USA....what is the law in regards to this? One would hope that Thais understand the idea of self defense/

I think John Rambo was trying to say if he observed said assault he would have used to moral right to bear arms to shoot those assailing his mate. Conversely maybe his buddy just woulda shot those gosh darn pesky lookin Thai boys as they walked up on him... ya can't trust those natives ya knowcoffee1.gif

yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Imagine living your life in such a paranoid and delusional state with such an unhealthy fascination with weapons that instead of living and enjoying your life to the fullest that you wish that you could have a loaded firearm on your person or in your house that on the off chance ONE day something violent may or may not happen to you and that your biggest joy was that in case that scenario were to transpire at least you would have the satisfaction of killing someone yourself.... fuk me... go live your life... now bring on the NRA fanatics with all your "what if?" rubbish. Pack of bloody nonces.

were we live, i dont even lock our door, ok we have a couple of dogs about our farm, but its like being in the uk 50years ago,

ive said before on here, ive been round guns a lot living in lincolnshire and poaching shooting hunting, guns arnt dangerous,,

its the tools on the end of them that are,

I have loads of guns and shoot in IPSC and for fun and I also have firearms for home defense.

You obviously have a problem with firearm responsibility. Shooting unarmed people is murder even if they invade your home.

You call the Police and keep them at bay until they arrive.

Firearms cannot be taken into a public area in Thailand. Public Area is purposely undefined.
