Hi I am asking on behalf of a Thai friend who works for a small company that is a sole proprietorship, (Thai owned of course)

She has no contract but the owner will be closing the business. Is she entitled to severance?

And since I am on the subject, if a Thai has a 1 year contract with a company and the contract does not renew are they entitled to severance?
