have been told there is one shop "3/4's of the way to nathon" (ie. from lamai)

did see some matchsticks disguised as cues in a local hardware shop.

but looking for something a bit better.

yes that is true.

about 0.5 mile from the stop light exiting nathon there is a shop on the left hand side that sells pool tablesa and pool table accesories. they have evrything.

there is a really good shop in chaweng....its on the lake road nearly opposite NOVA samui hotel.

the guys name is graham....048481973....samui pro pool.

he sells evrything to do with pool from tables to chalk.

i bought 2 "bar quality" basic cues for 700 each , pool style cues with wide tip.

snooker cues were a bit cheaper.

had better 2 piece cues for around 3000

not sure of comparable prices, but i don't think you can call them cheap.
