Can anyone recommend a good private investigator in Thailand to run checks on a Thai girlfriend.

Please feed back any experiences you have had with investigators you have used.

Particularly interested to find out if girlfriend has a Thai boyfriend in her home in Isaan (maybe Bangkok too).

So why are you not with her and the baby?

If you want to follow your Thai wife or girlfriend’s activities it is extremely easy to be your own detective and most of it can be done at home on the computer from the comfort of your own armchair. I guarantee that she will have either a facebook account, twitter, my space, Google plus, Utube or have profiles on other social networking sites or on multiple networking websites perhaps even ads on dating sites.

What you need:

Her email addresses

Mobile phone numbers

Any nicknames she uses

Actual Name

Residential address.

First try typing in either her real name, nickname, phone numbers or emailing addresses into facebook in order to find her facebook account.

Next type any of the information you already have about her into various search engines, especially Google and see if she is mentioned in any of the lists that appear. Also do a Google image search. I bet my bottom dollar that this will yield in results. You will be amazed what amazing results this will have just by only typing in an email address or mobile phone number. Also do a search in Skype, MSN messenger, Yahoo messenger, Windows Live and on dating sites such as Date In Asia, POF, Thai Kisses and others that Thai girls most commonly use.

There are various free people, social networking search engines and image comparison searches also available online. If you discover photos of her online, download the photos onto your hard drive and do a Google and TinEye image search to see where else she has uploaded her photos she may be using on her profiles.

At one time a close friend asked me to conduct an online search for his Thai girlfriend and within only 5 minutes I knew more about this person than my friend had known since the 2 years he was dating her. It transpired that this girl had a string of farangs on the go, including a couple of Arabs. It was all there in plain view on the social networking sites called, HI5.com, Tagged.com and Badoo that are popular with Thai women.

Also worth noting, for those who know how to do this, do an email header search to obtain where the emails originate from, which will give details of the ISP and area.

My recommended above methods should be the first line of search and the hiring of a private detective that I have no doubts won`t be cheap should only be considered as a last resort.

One more thing, where the girlfriend is claiming to be living and working can be checked out on Google Street View.

One major point in all this, is that the online searches must be discrete and the person unaware that these searches are taking place. Otherwise if they get even a hint that their activities are under scrutiny they will quickly make their profiles private or change their user names and other details so that it becomes extremely difficult to track them online.

If you really want to know what your GF has been up to...be prepared to deal with the consequences...plan you escape ahead of time...do not make a big deal over her infidelity if there has been some...and fade quietly into the night...Good Luck!

First ask yourself these questions and be 100 % honest if you really need help. (1) Where did you meet her ? A bar or massage shop ? A tourist area with thousands of other sex tourists hanging around ? (2) Did she speak English when you met her ? (3) Can you speak Thai ? (4) Does she often wander off with her phone ? Thousands of foreigners date or marry bar and massage girls. Thousands or lets say millions of foreigners who are heavy into alcohol and without any common sense get taken to the cleaners. If you have answered YES to any of the questions above you have made a very common and fatal mistake. As with many on this forum oddly when asked these questions i never get an answer. That in itself proves they are your common foreigner with NO common sense. They deserve no sympathy and are their own worst enemy. Can you be honest and answer these questions ?????????

And then what about next month?

Yes it's possible to hire an investigator but there are cases when the PI doubke crosses both parties for financial benefit and thus the chances of getting real info is slim, I'm not saying there aren't any honest and sincere PI in thailand , as I'm sure there are many.

I've had similar experiences, Thai and Filipina, then quite by chance I met a Khmer woman who is everything I could have wisehd for and life is good.

That said, each to their own and as always, one man's meat.....

I can't recommend a PI company in Thailand but I have a friend who runs a PI company in a different country and from I learnt from speaking to him, I would recommend the following:

- hire a PI company that has the means to trace whereabouts/movements through her mobile phone

- ask them to do a review of her Line chat communications and her facebook and potentially email but frankly not many people use email for personal communication anymore

The above will give you plenty of information about her and I'm sure you will find the answers to your questions with that. Using technology is far cheaper than using real people following her 24/7 and actually give a far better picture since people are very open with their personal lives on social media apps.

he has a very good little sideline in exactly this sort of investigation.

he's fluent in thai, a kiwi who is as honest as the day is long.

if your suspicions are borne out dont expect him to sugar coat things.

Thai citizen Private Investigator, widely advertised on Web as using women as agents. The P.I. goes to your target, wife, etc, and gets money from her (likely your money you gave wife) in a deal to be paid off to turn in to you a positive report. She pays.

You get a positive, no problem, report and you pay P.I.

The P.I. gets money from her and from you and you know nothing new, nothing dependable. This process does have the effect of scaring the wife.

Added for you...

-realize that human beings are weak and make mistakes; come to terms with a single infidelity--terminate if serial or life-long.

-get an AIDS test for yourself.

Exactly, and that is just what the Thais. think of farangs "stupid buffaloes" with thin white skins, that go to a Pattaya brothel and look for a wife, or a girl friend. OP. have you tried "I spy a Thai.com" or "bar girl spy.com"
