And can I just add mr red jonny Evans wouldn't make our team or our bench, in fact he probably wouldn't even make our squad, But thinking about it, best u keep him 4 sure he's good enuf 4 you..

Mr Red is our bitch on this thread today!!!!!!!

I reckon they are going down to Everton this weekend. ;)

Typical Spuds analysis - more hope and excitement than common sense. Next you'll be having us believe that Spuds can take 3 points out of Manyoo this year .

Hope and excitement has nothing whatsoever to do with it. The result of that fixture has no bearing on our season. I just happen to think Everton can beat them thats all.

If that typical "Spuds" then so be it........just keep putting words in our mouths, .and for the record id think a draw most likely in your pikey derby. :)

This is a very interesting weekend in the top four battle. We're at home to QPR and Toon are away to Stoke. ;)

Looking at the next months fixtures we have to be aiming for maximum points. Barring injuries I think that's achievable.

so realistically you are going to have injuries good get out clause when you don't get maximum points! i think you will win this weekend though closedeyes.gif

Thing is red, what you have missed is that we've won five of our last league games with a major injury crisis. Our injured players are coming back now. We had to play with our 4th and fifth choice center backs, no Sandro, Huddlestone, Corluka, Krancjar, Lennon Pienaar Gallas, Dawson and King most recently. What smokies saying is were nearly back to full strength and we dont have top four games coming up.

For me the most pleasing aspect of our recent form is doing with half our first choice team out injured.

Cracking performance from so many players but I'll single out Parker obviously and Bale for his contribution...BAE looked great first half coming forward but I still worry about his defensive qualities.

A fine win! smile.gif

Good performance. Should have had atleast three in the first half and finished it off but very solid nonetheless. I thought that QPR were the better side for the first 20 minutes of the second half and Colin did a very good tactical job with his changes.

Were looking very strong now. Great to see Ledley back so quickly and with Parker phenominal in midfield we have two real leaders on the pitch. Says alot for our strength when you can replace Parker with Sandro. It was also very refreshing that Redknapp didn't start meddling.

Happy days.

Parker was fantastic, seems like he is the man to gel the team together.Lets hope you beat City biggrin.gif

Stop getting so excited Red. I know we are playing well and the signs are extremely positive but we're just taking every game as it comes. :D

PS Have you seen our run in to the end of the year? Don't think friend abrak checked that out when he so confidently informed us the scousers would be fourth at the end of the year. :whistling:

what an impressive first half last night against qpr and we should have had the game wrapped up by half time, on a better day qpr could have nicked a point,, ridiculous to say they wouldn't have deserved it but the point is we were dominant enuf in the first half not to have allowed them even a a sniff of a point, Newcastle also springs to mind, I hope this is not going to be or Achilles heel in what looks like its building to be an impressive season

you say that half our first choice teams out, barring Dawson, and obviously king and maybe the lemon can't see any of the rest getting a starting spot, for most on the bench and that's at best.

Nice of Mr Barton to say this about Luca "What a footballer Luka Modric is, hats off. Best in the league by a mile."

Must make him worth about 60m now Man U and Chelsea :D :D
