Tortillas, especially whole-grain

Featured Replies

Anyone know where to get tortillas, preferably whole-grain? I checked the close by Big C and Foodland, couldn't find any (although I don't seem to be very good at finding things -- maybe they're there?).

I've seen them at times at Friendship in Pattaya. I would think Villa would have them, but don't recall if I've seen them there.

The Foodland at Phutthamonthon Sai 4 near Salaya carries both flour and corn tortillas. Danita's a local Thai company makes them. They're good, too. They also carry freshly made enchiladas and bean, beef, chicken and pork (yech) burritos from another local company. The spicy bean burritos are really good.

Foodland usually has tortillas, have another look. Villa Market and Tops should have them too. They are not with the fresh bread they will be in the refrigerated food section with the meat, cheese, and yoghurt.

I've never seen any in Big C or Tesco , don't bother looking there.

Try whole wheat Indian bread. Better than whole wheat tortillas. Rim Ping? Makro?

In BKK, Villa Markets usually stock the Danitas whole wheat flour tortillas...and sometimes Foodlands have them as well.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I drive past this Foodland every day, and I've been searching for corn tortillas. I make my own, but I'm afraid that my skill level leaves a little to be desired.
