Jai Dee
Vietnam invites Thai investors to survey boxide deposits in its country The Vietnamese government has invited Thai investors to survey boxide deposits in the northern part of its country. Mr. Anusorn Nuangpolmak (อนุสรณ์ เนื่องผลมาก), the Director-General of the Primary Industries and Mines Department, said Vietnam also invited the Thai private sector to invest in development of coal mining technology. He said his department will act as coordinator between Thai investors and the Vietnamese government and solve any problem they might encounter. Mr. Anusorn said Vietnam bans exports of all kinds of ores so the minerals found in that country must be processed before shipments.
