Massive computer hack at American insurance company Anthem Inc.

Hackers have compromised the internal databases of one of the largest health insurance companies in the United States.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the security breach has has endangered the personal data of more than 80 million people.

Anthem Inc. has said that “tens of millions” of personal records have been stolen in the hack, adding that the names, addresses and social security numbers of company employees, as well as current and former customers have been stolen.
