Snake ID?

our big boy( i mean the dog) just killed this lil' fellow which were hiding behind my empty bottle collection..Krait or not???

Never easy to tell the difference between krait and loation wolf snake. If it has stripes, I treat them with respect and relocate them a long way from the house

I've always understood that the kraits have much more defined bands/stripes than that and are not staggered as some of those are. We have these in our garden and a local 'expert' told me they are 'safe' but as above anything with stripes should be treated with utmost caution unless 100% certain what it is.

They live in rivers and eat fish mainly, Thai people think they have to heads because the tail looks like a head,

The "odd" shape is what gives it away....harmless
