  • Just to point out that Yingluck's high-speed passenger-only train-network is completely different from the Chinese or Japanese freight-railway proposals. And that I've seen quite a lot of criticism,

How does it get connected to pattaya..

Should the bkk citizens be able to get to the beach in 30 minutes of time?

What is the benefit to Japan of this "JV" exactly? Why would they be interested?

...or is it really just a loan like the Chinese "JV"?

PM was on a ride from Tokyo to Osaka on this high speed train !!

we will or not get this in Thai too,

depends on Dubais preference for China and pocket money !!

It must have been pretty embarrassing for the general, when they sat down together to talk about their respective rail services. The Japanese rail system makes Thailand look like it's a hundred years behind, which to be honest is not far from the truth.

I guess this means Prayut or a military junta led Government will need to remain in power in order to see the project successfully delivered. The question is, do they have the capacity to do it and the answer is; they most likely can, if the people empower them to do so in 2016.

I'm sitting at home in the cold UK amusing myself with thoughts of the High Speed train leaving Bangkok heading towards the market on the

railway lines.

The market people have a lookout 5 miles closer to Bangkok but it is touch and go whether the stall holders can move their stuff in time. cheesy.gifcheesy.gif

I just thought it funny coffee1.gif Ah well where's my overcoat. wai2.gif

It will be nice to see a high speed railway system in Thailand.

I think the picture is of a typical high speed train in Japan, and

yes they are that clean!, as I had a chance to ride one once.

Very comfortable and fast!

It gets connected to Pattaya the same way Pattaya is connected already. It's called Right of Way.

Do the Bangkok citizens actually want to get to the beach in 30 minutes. After all what does a Pattaya beach offer?

Post this news again after 20 years and see what they realized of their wet dreams biggrin.png
