Pattaya to Koh Chang

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I'm looking to travel from Pattaya (dark side) to Koh Chang on 17/18 feb return. Does anyone know of any minibuses that go there? Looking for as cheap as possible.

Thanks

Thanks! That's what I have found so cars. Pretty steep when travelling alone and the bus that goes isn't operating at the moment. May have to delay the trip and go somewhere else! Any suggestions.

Thanks for the reply.

The PREreserved vans always cost more-roughly double the normal bus fare. As vans are classified as 2nd cl-special, the normal old style open air 3d cl bus is always cheapest-and also about disappeared.

Its just a matter of how you take about ANY bus in TH;go to main road=Sukhumvit, wait for one to come along. There willbe NO direct-take first to go in that direction-Rayong-Chantaburi-Trat and change if needed. Through buess will also wait 15-20 mins anyway in such towns to fit in with departure pattern.

Walk in to any of the thai travel companies in Pattaya and ask if you can just buy into the van ride but not the overall tour package. If they have room, they might work something out with you. Let them speak Thai to the operators or the higher up agents they deal with and see what they come back with.

Im doing that in April , booked a minibus 6 people , which is what there will with our party 4k there , 3.5 back

My mate is Koh Chang at the moment I think he pays about 900 for coach/minibus , I.ll give him a bell
