Ok I have been living here for Three years now and have had various visa ranging from 1 year non immagrant b to 30 day border runs! I have recently got a work permit which only lasts as long as my visa! This runs out on the 12th sept so I need to out and apply for a new 1 year non imm B multiple entry! I have been told due to the nature of the business I'm in I can not apply for the visa in Thailand! Anyone know if Penang is a good option and how much? I really do not wish to travel back to the UK!

Are you in Thailand on a tourist visa exemption or on any other kind of visa? If the latter, you may be able to obtain a extension of stay in Thailand.

Penang or KL is good with the work permit to get the one year multi entry visa. Cost will be around 5,000 Baht. Be sure to take the work permit before it expires on Sept 12th. If you will be outside the country when it expires during this time, be sure you suspend the work permit before you leave Thailand.

Take with you to Penang, pictures, passport, company invitation, company paperwork (affidavit, by-laws, shareholders list, and Vat registration... all signed and stamped by the director)
