February 16, 201511 yr I am really not good at typing SMS on the small keyboard of my Samsung smartphone. Would it be possible that I create on my PC (Win 7) a text document and then transfer it to my Smartphone so that I can send it from here?
February 16, 201511 yr If you have Android you could use Airdroid. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sand.airdroid&hl=de You can remote control your phone and also copy text from your PC to the phone.
February 16, 201511 yr I use mighty text free version, all my text messages come on my computer so I dont have to rush to my phone, can reply and send new from the computer to my galaxy phone, there are a lot of apps that do this. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.texty.sms&hl=en
February 16, 201511 yr You can send SMS's from skype if you buy skype credit. They'll show as coming from your mobile # as well if you set it up to do so (which involves receiving an sms to confirm).

February 16, 201511 yr No idea whether this applies to you. If you are in Thailand an have an AIS SIM (1-2-call) you can use their eService: https://aiseservice.ais.co.th/eServiceWeb/ (click on "EN") After successful login you can send SMS directly through this web interface. Guess other providers have similar services?

February 17, 201511 yr If you have MyPhoneExplorer which I use for backing up/sync all by stuff with Outlook/Calender/Phonebook/SMS messages it will also do what the o/p wants.

Within AIS 1 Baht for instant sent SMS and 2 Baht for SMS send on schedule. Other networks 3 Baht. (within Thailand, no idea whether you can send SMS overseas via web, seems not) No, you can not receive SMS on the web. Just sending. Edited February 17, 201511 yr by KhunBENQ

This could provide me the easiest solution : in fact I need it to send SMS from my PC to only one mobile tel nr in Indonesia and make sure the receiver can reply to my mobile tel nr. However when checking following website from Skype http://www.skype.com/en/features/caller-identification/ ...I cannot find the "Caller ID" tab
February 17, 201511 yr Author I also do not find in my Skype window the way to "Manage Features" indicated in "How do I set up caller identification using my Skype Number?" I have latest Skype version... https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA1248/what-is-caller-identification-and-how-do-i-set-it-up
