Visiting LOS in about a week.

Will be staying with GF's parents in Kampaengpetch for a day or2 before going to BKK to do GF's visa application. What method of travel would you recommend? Train (if there is one?)/ bus/ taxi?

I've driven in Thaland but wouldn't risk it in BKK.

How long is the trip likely to take too?

I would take the Bus....not the Minibus though . Kamphaeng phet to BKK should be about 4 - 4,5 hrs by Bus depends on the traffic too...

Taxi is another option if you don't mind to spend the money....i guess you will pay about 3-4000 THB one way.

i afraid you cant do it that easy

1 .. goto northern line bus station , Kampaengpetch Rd (sorrry ..same name but it's in BKK aka .Mor chit 2) you will get the seat for sure

2 wait on the bus stop , opposite don meung airport , and u catch the bus .

anyhow .. it seems like u can take a flight to nearby province as "Pitsanuloke" 103 km and "Sukhothai" 77 kms from KPP by thai airway and then take a bus to go to KPP
