It's all BS... I would guess that most of the votes for Thailand beaches came from people who only traveled in Thailand and perhaps saw one or two other beaches in other countries. The only true voter would be one who visited all the best beaches in asia. Also, other than perhaps bali and Singapore, Thailand gets a lot more tourists going to the beaches so would get more votes. Don't believe everything you read on the Internet.

Rankings determined by quantity and quality of reviews over a 12 month period.

Peter Island has an incredible beach. However, it is a private island in the Caribbean and gets no votes.

So, this is based on where people actually go, and how well they rate where they go.
