Our 60-day tourist visas will expire soon. We will have them extended in Chiang Mai.

Questions :

1. Where do we go ?

2. What do we need to take ?

3. Should we go on the day of expiry ?

Thanks :o .

Thank you :D .

You have prompted a couple more q's:

1. Where is Immigration in C M ?

2.

passport at location
- sorry, do you mean take passports and they will be copied there ?

3. If we go in before the day of expiry, is the extension given from the day we go in or the day of expiry ?

:o

Immigration is on the road near the airport.

Behind the office is a booth (cafe) that will photocopy anything and take photos as required - cheaper elsewhere but only makes a few baht difference!

Extension is from day of expiry whenever you go - and in my experience is for 30 days regardless of how many days you ask for.
