Thanks, so thats a 2 month tourist visa right? (not 30 days)

Is it valid from the date it was issued or the date we enter Thailand?

Thanks

A tourist visa gives a 60 day entry that can be extended for 30 days at immigration.

The visa would be valid for for entry into the country for 3 months form the date it is issued.

Email the embassy: [email protected] The First Secretary's name was Khun Natee, and if he's still there, he's very helpful.

If youre in a hurry and or dont to waste your time in a embassy queue - consider using Mr Kao at LMN Travel on the corner of Sisowath Quay/136 str (next to the Paddy Rice Irish bar and restaurant) You cant miss it if youre walking up the riverside. Mr Kao can arrange it overnight for 60 USD and 50 USD for two nights service. He speaks perfect english and is recommended before on this forum. I am picking up my visa tomorrow.

^Used LMN Travel multiple times myself and never had any issues. I'd recommend them as well.

I emailed the Embassy and got this reply:

Thank you for your email. The usual processing time for visas is 2 working days. For instance, if you apply on Monday morning, for instance, you will receive your passport back on Wednesday afternoon. In urgent cases when the applicant has a real necessity for requesting expedition, we will consider it on a case by case basis.

Please also note that we do not charge extra for expedited service, and any tour agencies requesting extra fees for expedited service should be reported directly to the Royal Thai Embassy so that we can place them on our watchlist.

Have a nice journey and to stay some days in Phnom Penh is enjoyable, at least for me. thumbsup.gif
