February 25, 201511 yr I am bemused when I stay at hotels that have mold and mildew in the bath tile grout. Don't Thais know you can simply pour bleach on it and it goes away? I don't have a motorbike or car so I shop at Villa and the like. I have looked for bleach to use on my own but everything is in Thai. How do I find bleach or a similar product at Villa and Foodland that I can just pour on the tiles? The Thai market workers don't understand the word bleach. Thanks for your help.
February 25, 201511 yr no where near as good as proper bleach, this stuff must be watered down already
February 25, 201511 yr I do not know what "proper bleach" is. But common household bleach is usually sold with an approx concentration of 5.25% sodium hypochlorite. If stronger solutions are being sought then it will probably be available from a swimming pool maintenance company
February 26, 201511 yr Author Thanks. I see that bottle actually says bleach. I have not seen it but will look.
February 26, 201511 yr The brand name is Haiter. Villa has it, as does Foodland. That stuff is for clothes, not cleaning your tiles. Look in the bathroom cleaning section. The ones that say 'Sodium Hypochlorite' on the back are bleach.
February 28, 201511 yr Author I have see Clorox brand bleach at Villa in Pattaya Wow! haven't seen that. Thanks!
