Pattaya nightmare for 800+ days and nights

Featured Replies

with the building of the tunnel on the sukhumvit and consequent road and lane closures, driving in and out of pattaya is now a nightmare and will become complete gridlock with any subsequent up coming events, holidays, festivals, public holidays, weekends etc etc.

personally i'm out of here. this is the final straw.

thoughts!

Move to Bangkok and spend a day driving from one side to the other , Pattaya is far better even with the roadwork going on.

OP, don't forget to send a postcard from your new faultless location.

I am watching this from the village perspective, somewhat "bemused" **

I am sure it will take an even harder try to shy away those farangs from Pattaya tongue.png

Get a breathing/oxygen mask and use a bicycle biggrin.png

Will be easy to pass the lines of cars and in difficult cases you can shoulder it.

** on Sunday I come down by car and inspect the mess.

No joke! tongue.png

Bangkok: at the right spots you have at least an MRT or Skytrain. Still better than queing and sweating in a jammed/crammed Baht bus.
