TAT invites non-Thai travelers to join “One and Only” contest

BANGKOK, 5 March 2015 (NNT) - The Tourism Authority of Thailand invites non-Thai travelers from around the world who are interested in Thai culture to participate in the “One and Only” contest to win a free exclusive trip to Thailand.

Participants can select any of the five activities under the “Discover Thainess” theme, namely traditional Thai dancing, making Thai-style floral garlands, Thai cooking, speaking Thai or Muay Thai. They must film themselves doing the selected activity and submit the clip online to http://discoverthainess.tourismthailand.org.

Three pictures with highest popular votes will be invited to Thailand to do the activity they have selected and also travel around Thailand for free. During their journey here, their lives will be filmed and posted online for public voting.

The team which receives the highest number of votes will win prestigious souvenirs from the Bang Sai Royal Folk Arts and Crafts Centre under the Royal patronage of H.M.Queen Sirikit, such as a handmade model of the Suphannahong, Hanuman Khon Mask, Phra Narai Khon Mask, and an accommodation package in Thailand.

Foreigners wishing to take part in the contest can apply from now on while the application period for Thais will begin in May. All of them can register online at www.Tourismthailand.org/discoverthainess.

I tried learning to speak Muay Thai but all they teacher wanted to do was kick me! ! ! !

....OMG......not another "promoshun" from TAT.....have the other 72 promotions TAT started finished yet...???

heheheh another stupid TAT activity: they work like chicken running from one manure heap to the next and spend a lot of money for nothing! worse to spend....

Amazing ideas TAT come up with - maybe they should try hire some foreign Experts to sort out this mess they are making. Could send them a "Happyness Ending"-movie tho ...
