My father was a Protestant Irish-Scottish Descent from North Carolina and my Mom was a Polish Catholic Girl from Brooklyn , NY. I grew up in a Brooklyn Neighborhood of many nationalities and we Partied along with everyone of the Parades each Nationality held ! TMI ? So , no I am not a 100% Paddy , although I worked and sang in more then a few Irish Pubs in my day..... as a bartender ! It's where I learned some of the Classic Irish Music on my Playlist for St. Patrick's Day..... Hope you enjoyed it and have a Happy St.Patrick's Day ! But, you forgot Van Morrison and Christy Moore in your list - who are Irish and have written some good songs. Ride On, Lisdoohnvarna (which my best friend thinks i should visit to find a husband) Have a great St Patrick's day. I shall be wearing green tomorrow and perhaps supping a pint. Still waiting for the bloody new passport though. I suppose i can give it another week now!! They'll all be on the sick.
