Dutchbike
No problem. I know OP is interested Ha ha I might, but still, 41K more will get me a Honda 650 ( which is on my list as well) But the 390 is IMO a great looking bike. Why not make it 200/210K they for sure would sell a lot more.
DLang
Unless living in someplace like the North (endless twisty mountain roads) and it was a bike just for fun, I couldn't justify getting it before a CBR650.
wow64
Expensive for a 390... IMO
TheRoadWarrior
yeah... since theyre in similar price range, it makes sense to compare them..... for my tastes, this is my analysis cbr650 + sounds great + good power level...enough for highway, without being ridiculous in the city + looks pretty good - heavy - doesnt fit through traffic as easy as smaller bikes rc390 + lightweight and thin... highly maneuverable in traffic + looks fantastic + rarity/exclusivity... wont see one at every stoplight - very high price per hp... not quite enough power for highway riding - sounds terrible... even with aftermarket exhaust duke 390 is a more reasonable 239k....still pricey, but gettting close to where it should be.... but doesnt look nearly as good as the RC390
ktm jeff
Im a KTM fan , but , just like KTM made the biggest marketing / advertising blunder in history when ( on advice from a guy who wasnt qualified ) they turned down the oppurtunity to supply bikes to Charlie and Ewan for their now world famous "long way" trips , they have gone and shot themselves in the foot again , by missing another great sales oppurtinity . Price these bikes more in line with other contries , and sell loads . Just take a look at Ducati now .
