Looking for a Vet 2015

Good day people, I am an Expat from the US. I moved to Thailand seven years ago. My Shut Suz came with me. She is now 12-years-old. A week ago she fell and heart her lower back. She has slowly lost the use of her hind quarter. I believe that the only way my dog will recover, is to find a Vet who has had Chiropractic training for animals. I know this request sounds very strange. Trust me when I say. There are Doctors out there trained in Chiropractic. I need your help to find one in the Pattaya area. (50 mile radius) I live in Bang Saen Beach.Plase ask everyone you know here in Thailand.

PS: Admin, please leave this post under general topics for best exposure.

There are many VETS in the dark side of Pattaya and we use the main VET clinic behind the mini TESCO on Soi Nernplubwan.

I am sure that the VETs there would be able to put you onto someone.

Just laid up myself at the moment so I cant call in but maybe on the the lads or lasses who post on here would know or could call in and ask for you

PS

I just found this on a search of TVF

I realise that its old but maybe the phone number if still alive

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/47739-good-dog-vet-in-pattaya/

I live over on Mabrachan and the best vet I have found is located at the new market on Soi Nern Plub Wan.

The lady is very helpful and speaks v good English.

Can't remember her name but her # is 038406384
After further looking I think the place is this one;

Soi Nern Plab Wan (Sukhumvit Soi 53), Pattaya, Bang Lamung, East Pattaya, Pattaya, 20150

I am happy with the information you people have provided so far, thank you.

I must point out that I am not in need of an ordinary type of Vet. I am in need of a highly trained Vet, that uses bone manipulation (Chiropractor) in his office. In other words, I am looking for a dog Chiropractor. That is not the same a Chiropractors that work on humans.

I have to confess I did not know there was such a thing.......

When one of our GSDs was diagnosed with a hip problem my gf researched extensively and we ended up going to see a specialist consultant doctor (bone issues) who teaches and practices at different hospitals in BKK.. If you are interested let me know and I will try to get the details.

At the time you posted the above I was the only person who had answered and therefore not a "people"

Your appreciation would have been better placed in the form of hitting the "like button" after all you are not a "newbie"

The Animal hosptial I advised you contact, as from my post;

"I am sure that the VETs there would be able to put you onto someone."

was to ascertain whether they knew of any Canine Chiropractor and not for their veterinary services which I have found both professional and reasonably priced.

I must point out that,

I'm not a newbie either and did read all of your OP which I answered within the context of not being familiar with a Doggie Chiropractor but maybe thinking that you could contact these people who maybe were!

Regards and good luck in your search

Harvey AKA N210MP or "people"

The vet clinic just before Tesco Lotus (and the gas station) on Suk before Thepprasit as you are headed North, has a pool that's used for rehab purposes. I've been there several times and we are very happy with the vets and the service. Not cheap, but very good.

I think it's Eastern Pet, or something like that. Very professional outfit.

TWO libellous posts have been removed, I suggest you re post your recommendation without the libellous content, be under no illusion libel is a criminal offence and can put a person in jail:

6) You will not post comments that could be reasonably construed as defamation or libel.

Defamation is the issuance of a statement about another person or business which causes that person to suffer harm. It does not have to be false to be defamatory. Libel is when the defamatory statement is published either in a drawing, painting, cinematography, film, picture or letters made visible by any means, or any other recording instruments, recording picture or letters, or by broadcasting or spreading picture, or by propagation by any other means. Defamation is both a civil and criminal charge in Thailand.
