Wife and i will be in Pattaya next week ,(from uk), stay in Pattaya a week then off up country to in laws, we want to buy a few things in Pattaya to take back to family, we will have a car to use, one thing we need is a tv, can anyone who lives in this area recommend the places for the best buys.

Power Buy. There's a few round town but the best branch IMO is to be found in Central Festival. Power Buy also do extended warranty if you need it.

Sometimes they have very good deals on "last year's model" - their salesmen will look surprised if you want to have last year's model, 555.

Not sure how big a TV you want but......Lazada.com is great. Deliver everywhere in Thailand and can pay on delivery (usually deliver within a week). Presently Lazada has a 43 inch Samsung TV for 10,400 Baht. Previously had a 50 inch TV for 15,000 baht. Have even smaller screen TV's cheaper obviously....hundreds of choices.

If nothing else....can use Lazada's prices as a guideline to see if you're getting a good deal.
