dukes
Hi Guys, I will shortly be travelling from Yasothon to Pattaya. Rather than go overland, I considered flying from Ubon Ratchathani. Does anyone know if there is a flight and by what carrier. Thanks.
citizen33
I'm no expert and could be wrong on this, but last time I looked this it wasn't a very cheap or convenient route. The options are: Ubon to Bangkok via Air Asia (cheapest) or Thai or Roi Et to Bangkok by PB Air Then (if you really want to fly as near to Pattaya as possible): Bangkok to U-tapao by Bangkok Air (not sure if this is still going) Realistically Air Asia to BKK and then a taxi to Pattaya is the cheapest, and with Air Asia it pays to book well ahead via the web. The taxi ride from U-tapao to Pattaya is surprisingly long, so I would tend to avoid the extra expense of a 2nd flight.

Does anyone know if there is a flight and by what carrier. Thanks. Sorry, no such animal Scheduled flights from U-Tapao only currently go to Koh Samui and Phuket. Luckily, because otherwise they would fly over my home.
pacwestus
Any truth to the rumor Nok Air is considering an outstation at UBP? Was a little doubtful of this when Air Asia cut their flight to once a day....
