Dog Leaving LOS

Featured Replies

I'll be returning to LOS in the next month or so to get my dog and bring her back (she's American) to the States.

No problem bringing her back into the States, but what about leaving Thailand? Any rules or paperwork I need to be aware of?

Thanks.

you might try submitting your question to the "Soi Dog Foundation" in Bangkok.

They take care of all of the paperwork if someone wants to adopt a dog and take it back to their home country.

If your dog is a US citizen with a US passport you won't have any problems at all. tongue.png

I haven't got a dog but they are lovely.

Agreed. Dogs are people and family members. thumbsup.gif

She's the last of the three I brought over. Her mom died two years ago, then her brother died last month.

I just found a house in a great neighborhood. Two blocks up is a thirty acre park that she can run free in and have a blast, making lots of new friends. She loves going down the slide, and through the tunnels with the kids.

You need a health certificate and export permit.
You can get this in Chiang Mai IF you travel Korean air: CNX-seoul-seatle(??? or somewhere US)
If you via BKK, you need to get these certificates at the AQS at Suvarnabhumi airport. :)
