If you or your employer paid for it, doesn't matter. You've received your visa and your work permit for this particular position. Once the employment is over, you've got exactly seven days to leave the country.

If you quit your position, you do not have a visa anymore. Nor a work permit you could use for somewhere else.

P.S. You want to quit your job after only one month, or did you work there longer?

Note the 7 days extension has to be applied and paid for. It is not automatic.

This is another of those common posts which fail to clarify exactly what is being talked about !

If the OP does indeed have a "Visa" it will remain valid until it expires.

On the other hand , if he has an "extension of stay based on working" then that does become invalid on the day his job ends!

The work permit is, of course, linked to the job and should be formally cancelled.
