noahvail
My wife, who dabbles in such things, estimates your amulet to be worth only 400-500 baht, since it's not a very poular one.. She said it is very similar to another monk's amulet, which depending on condition, could garner between 10k and 30k. Evidently they are similar enough that it takes an expert to tell the difference. She's been doing this for some years. It's considered a man's profession, but she has gained the trust of the local dealers. If you know what you're doing, it can be lucrative; but it's terribly easy to get burned with all the counterfeits out there. Just enjoy wearing it, it's a nice-looking piece. cooked
I wore an amulet that I found while digging in the garden. I was told that it was worth ฿30 000 and I occasionally got some respect from Thais that saw it. . On the day that my tiling was finished, it fell from my neck and I heard the sound. (out in the garden) and so ... I don't wear it any more.
dragonfly94
Any recommended good place to buy where there are no fakes, I know you see them at every market and even on bridges.
