Most of the advice on here is relating to the opposite situation, Western Man with a Thai wife..

All I can tell you is that your situation is a lot easier, the specifics, sorry I don't know..

Ok, let me expand a little....

You don't need to show any money! Your right to the Visa is automatically guaranteed as being a "dependent" of your Thai husband.

I was simply warning you not to read too much into the reverse situation, which may confuse you.

Read into what you like... I think it was the perfect reply!

What do you need... um! Marriage certificate and a passport I guess?

No doctor certificate is needed. Wedding certificate original and copy, copies of you spouse ID card and house book, dated and signed. that's it.

If you live in a major city you should contact immigration to find if they do again visa conversion before a further extension of stay. That would save you the trip.

As said you only need you marriage certificate plus a copy, signed and dated copies of you husbands house book registry and ID card.

If you live in or near Bangkok you can do conversion to a 90 day non immigrant visa based upon qualifying for an extension based upon marriage. You will need at least 15 days remaining on your entry and it will require 2 trips to immigration 15 days apart to get the visa/entry stamps.
