Hello there, I need to apply for a Tourist Visa in the region and I was wondering if there are any consulates within a few hours of Bangkok that are giving double or triple entries? I think it may be a long shot as i am pretty sure the only place doing so right now is Vientiane, unless I am mistaken?

I just fancy going somewhere else, that's all. I have been to VT a few times over the years and i just fancy something different. Anything regional is fine of course but I would also be happy to venture out as far as Hong Kong or maybe even Korea. Just something different for a few days. Bali even? Anywhere that's no more than 4 or 5 hours on a plane, basically.

Any info would be appreciated, thanks so much!

Cheers

Savvanakhet Laos also does them.

Hanoi, Bali (3 entry), Hong Kong and Manila will do them but you have to show tickets out of the country for each entry.

Thanks. So for Bali I basicly just book 3 flights in advance.... If I return to Thailand on say, May 1st i go ahead and pre book a return to say, Singapore, on August 1st, another one for November 1st and finaly one more for Feb 1st. Is that right? If I book those 3 flights, I should be good?

You need to count 90 days including the date you will enter the country not 3 months. Your total stay after entering will only be for 90 days if you get a 30 day extension.

I hope I am ok here on this topic I just returned from a single entry and got 30 days extension than yesterday went out of country to chong chom and back got 30 days tourist vias and tha is all I needed it for returning to Canada on the 23 of april. So now I wan to come back with a multiple entry visa does it work the same way? and do I get to reserve a ticket back say 9 months later?

Thanks for any good advice.

If you have a visa of any type you do not need a return or onward ticket to board you flight or enter the country.

If you are applying for a tourist visa some embassies and consulate will want to see tickets out of the country for each entry.

Not sure what visa you plan on applying for. Tourist visas are not issued as a multiple entry they are only issued by the number of entries allowed. Only non immigrant visas are issued as a multiple entry.

Thank you Ubonjoe, I got good advice from you and as far what I am looking for is perhaps triple entry instead of multiple entries so I would do like every 60 days go to immigrations get an extra 30 days than go again with second entry and an extra 30 days is it how it goes?

Thank for your advice.

That is how it works. Just be sure you do the last entry on or before the enter before date on your visa.

You should get your visa as close to your departure date from Canada as possible because the 6 months validity starts on the date of issue.
