Western Women Speaking About Western Men In Thailand

I happened upon this video. It has some western women stopped in the street talking about western men who come to Thailand for the women.

What i like about this is not all the comments are overly judgemental. None of the women say 'The man is fat and ugly and cannot find a woman back home".

I find when the role is reversed and Western MEN talk about Western WOMEN they become bitter and abusive to western women on a personal basis

Those Western women - on the whole - weren't over-judgmental because the elderly Western men who come here for romance with bar girls simply don't register on their radar beyond being something to chuckle about on the flight home.

Western men can be more bitter and abusive about Western women because many of them have suffered a lifetime of rejection/marginalization/indifference at the hands of the young, attractive ones they've lusted after since puberty.

From what I've seen and heard, they relish any opportunity to vent at Western women letting them know that they're with slim, sexy Thai women who love them, warts and all.

Of course Thai women will clean you out if you are not diligent, and sometimes even if you are... The difference is that the laws in Thailand are not stacked in the woman's favor...

This point is cogent to the topic as the OP stated that western women are not as negative as western men when discussing one another... The men are more negative because they have most likely been cleaned out once or twice by western women, while the western women are the benefactors of the fleecing... Thus the difference in tone of their views of each other...

In the main western women they don't seem to care

When they do feel slighthed or rejected though, i don't hear these women criticising the men's physical appearance or the men's personal characteristics

You are correct when people make assumptions about the actions of others and I did not paint all western women with the same brush...

Given the demographic of many western men that travel to or live in Thailand, I would wager that a greater than average number of them have had negative relationships with western women... Yes, another assumption, but given my own straw poll, this is the case... If this were not the case, would these men even be in Thailand? So of course the perception is going to be skewed...

An older acquaintance if mine told me that his (approx. 20 t.o.) daughter was more scathing of the middle-aged Western home breakers and their Asian 'bimbos' than was his wife.

My experience is that people who have never been to Thailand have a prejudice about what is going on in Thai bars that is much much worse than the actual reality. Almost all Westerners who came to Thailand told me the bars and prostitution in Thailand turned out to be completely different from what they had imagined.

I guess a bunch of interviews done in Oklahoma City would have turned out very differently too.
