I like what the European woman around 2mins says about femininity (surprising actually), especially in comparison to what the Irish woman after her says about how much the prostitutes get paid (does she know what a teacher makes in comparison to a sex worker?). Basically, saying the same old thing everyone says without thinking. But the previous girl was very insightful and objective. A lot of talk about the men taking advantage of the women and that the woman are desperate. In my opinion, I don't think they are desperate. If they were, they wouldn't be able to charge 1000-2000 baht for an hour. If they were desperate, they would have to accept whatever the man would give them, or work for 7000 baht per month on 10 hour shifts, 6 days a week, like so many other Thais (which works out at about 30 baht per hour, by the way). And Yingluck's 300 baht a day hasn't even caught on yet countrywide. There are people in my village still working for 150 baht a day. And then there is the woman saying, "these beautiful girls with ugly, fat western men". This is exactly why it can be difficult for guys to find girlfriends in the west. Western women are so self-conscious and afraid of what people would think of them if they were with a fat guy, or a nerdy guy. They restrict the selection of their partners so much based on what their peers think and what society thinks. Thailand seems to have less of that in general and people here are pretty free to choose partners without fear of being mocked for some trivial characteristic deemed to be negative. I also like what the last woman says about the girls having more freedom with western men. I know of two woman (one is my girlfriend) who openly say, "I am not with a Thai guy cos I want to be the boss sometimes." I think most Thai girls experience more freedom with western men, than Thai men.

I think you've got that very wrong Trust me; every Thai woman has a finely-honed sense of her value or worth on the meat market. it's just that many if the women that older, fat farangs hook up with simply don't have the luxury of caring what other people think. For them, the money is much more important than saving face. Western women don't care as much about looks as they do about a man's personality, sense of humour and potential. This is why so many stunning women are with guys who, by most conventional measures, would be considered slackers - dead-end jobs, irresponsible, insolvent.

April 12, 201510 yr I hardly ever listen to anything any woman says. Let them speak for as long as they like, about anything they like, to whomever they like. Personal music players are an amazing and useful invention. Ha,ha,this reminds me of my ex brother in law helmut,when 4 or more Thai ladies were gathered together and talking he would say; "Marko ,now you see full chicken farm'.
