News, that there is now a Songkran Penalty for using too high a pressure water gun. Usage may incur a jail term of up to 5 years and/or up to 500,000 Baht fine. WOW !!! Get drunk , drive and kill someone and the penalty if any is a fraction of this. Not quoting any specifics, but during times past, there have been fines and penalties set for much more serious infractions, and a wide range of lower fines and jail terms than this. Who is or who has been responsible for setting this all over the scope fine, fees and jail time penalties???
