Raincoat for DSLR in bkk

Featured Replies

Anyone know where I can get a decent raincoat for DSLR? I'm wanting to go shoot some of the Songkran activities and want some decent protection for my gear. I was thinking maybe fotofile but maybe someone knows a shop that carries such an item.

Thanks

You can try AV Camera & Big Camera...Google for one nearest you.

Won't be an easy find though as these are usually not stocked.

If you have an old UV filter and a few plastic bags plus some gaffing

tape...with a little creativity you can make a good one that will last

you through Songkran. To assemble you'll need a razor blade & pair

of scizzors...to cut the bags properly.

Depending on your finances you can buy an Ikelite housing for your

camera...check the shops listed above. It won't be cheap.

Yes I had considered making my own. Thanks. I did also consider and underwater housing like Ikelite but as you said not cheap but either is my gear I want to protect, a Sony A99 and Zeiss 24-70/2.8

Whatever way you go you better come to a decision quickly!
