I will be in Bangkok from Phuket for few days and wanted to replace my fitbit, I was just going to head for Pantip plaza as I thought they may have gadget shops, is this the best place? can any one reccomend anywhere?

Pantip Plazza is on its last legs. Its like a ghost town now. I would guess 50-60% of the shops have closed. I was there just a couple weeks ago. Sad to see such an iconic place in such a state

Agree this is my go to place now. Right on MRT it doesnt get any better. They have more there than Pantip now. It was really sad walking around Pantip the other week to see all my old faithful shops gone. I heard they are going to remodel in the future.

Fortune town does have everything a person needs in regards to computing, phones, tv, stereo. It has a great android box store!

I live in phuket and use to make a stop at pantip every visit to BKK. Those days are over it seems. Its just not worth the walk with Fortune town right beside the MRT.

Thanks on tuesday I shall try fortune as not been there before & by mrt should be easy to find, if no luck will head to pantip

Pay the extra and get the model with the heart rate monitor. I regret not getting it now.
