Truck used in bombing

Police are looking to identify a man dressed in blue who is believed to be the driver of the truck used in the Samui bombing this weekend.

Officers from Bangkok’s Crime Suppression Division and the Provincial Police Region 8 reviewed footage from the 123 security cameras at the Central Festival Samui in hopes of identifying the man.

Region 8’s deputy chief, who is leading the investigation, said that police are confident the man they are searching for is the driver of the truck used in the bombing. Cameras caught the man exiting the shopping mall approximately one hour after parking the truck on the ground floor of the parking garage. The man was wearing a blue shirt, but his identity still remains a mystery. Cameras lost sight of the man after he left the property.

No motives have been ruled out by the Police Major General Somchai. Police believe that the bombing was an act of militants from southern Thailand because the truck was stolen from the Yala province.

That seems to cover most of the options.

A simple "we are still investigating" might be a better statement.

I expect he will have changed his shirt by now.

I'd be pretty sure he's not wearing blue today, guys.

So now it is the blue shirts that are a threat to Thailand. Guess it will be safer to stick to floral shirts from now on!!!.

Based on the police announcements the culprits seem to be disgruntled Muslim Redshirt employees who may have been hired by a local 'influential person' to set the bomb.....

red, blue, yellow it's like a giant game of cluedo for the RTP.... maybe Colonel Mustard did it in the cellar with a candlestick. Makes as much sense as their drivel.

I believe if you mix all the known colors together you get grey.

The RTP should cut corners and arrest everyone wearing a grey shirt.

btw, have you noticed it is always any other color, except brown, never ever brown...ever!

Unless the "blues" hold a rally, then the cops can narrow it down.

Looks like the man in blue is off the hook and had no involvement.
