One for Windows CE experts

Featured Replies

I have an old CE tablet that runs iGo GPS.

It now only gets used as a GPS so I'd like to make it auto-run the GPS program.

CE is not an OS I have much (any) experience with, is there an easy solution to get a program to auto-run?

In other versions of Windows it's something like C:\ Users> All users> Microsoft> Windows> Start menu> Programs> Startup.

Make a copy shortcut to (sorry) the program's main .exe file and drag it into that folder. That does it.

This isn't the common Programs Folder but rather is obviously buried in the Users section.

For instance I have notepad in there so it will open every time. I use it to paste text from all sources and then copy/paste back out to paste into this forum. That strips the text of all formatting including line breaks and leaves only paragraph breaks for a cleaned up post. I also have Photoshop and Word in there.
