Shaving Light Over the Mirror

My bathroom has no light over the mirror and when I shave

only one side of my face is visable,the other side is in the

dark.

I want to put a light over the mirror but have never done it before.

Where should it go,what type of light should I use if I don't want to

dassle myself or put a shine on the mirror and what about saftey.

Would love some advise.

ideally switch should be operated from outside but i would opt for a enclosed strip light operated from a pull switch.

    get a battery led one just stick it on the wall
