Federation of Thai Industries to expand exports in Bahrain and Middle East countries

The Federation of Thai Industries (FIT) will increase the exports of electronic products as well as agricultural products and construction businesses to Bahrain and countries of Middle East. FIT is confident that such expansion will increase the export figures of Thailand.

Vice president of Federation of Thai Industries Niphon Surapongrukcharoen(นิพนธ์ สุรพงษ์รักเจริญ) disclosed that over 30 entrepreneurs of Bahrain have visited Thailand to study the businesses in Thailand. He added that a seminar between Federation of Thai Industries and Bahrain has been organized to enhance business cooperation between both countries.

He believes it will increase the exports of the country to Bahrain. He stated that exports figures will increase up to 5 trillion baht from 4.73 trillion baht of last year.

Mr. Niphon added that electrical and electronic products as well as agricultural products will be crucial products for exports. He stated that construction business is also an interesting business to invest in Bahrain as Thailand possesses high potential and technological know-how regarding construction.
