Rain Gear

Featured Replies

I've been through several types of rain gear (two-piece, jacket and pants) in the past few years and none of them have been satisfactory. I've had the Taichi set most recently (about 1700 Bt) and now it too leaks. I am considering now the Givi RR03 (about 2100 Bt). Anybody have experience with these? Any other recommendations?

I have Rev'it. Although I haven't used it much as my main jacket and pants have waterproof linings, I've had no problems with it thus far.

The Oxford stuff from the UK is pretty good- you can get it through eBay for a fairly low shipping price, and there usually won't be a customs hit as it comes in an envelope via Royal Mail (though of course it's not a guarantee). I've got their one-piece Bone-Dry Oversuit that works well, and it's made specifically to go over your gear.

It comes in hi-viz yellow as well:
