Just renewed my wife's ten-year visa, we're going next week.
I'm more worries about the loony-left ice protesters than I am ICE officers. Hopefully, I'll have a chance to pick up the tab for a few ICE officers I see eating in uniform.
Plus the fact that the temples are of Khmer architecture, exactly the same style that you find at Angkor archeological Park in Siem Reap. When the Khmer empire built these temples they were Hinduism and after they became Buddhist temples. Both countries now are Buddhists, so why not have the temples as point in common between both sides?
Why not create a DMZ and let both sides visit freely?

I applaud the Thai's for sticking their middle finger up to the international community, screw the New World Order. Not everyone wants to be neutered like those in the EU.
Not sure if it has occurred to the statistical gurus at TCT, but a government in turmoil grappling with the potential of a war with Cambodia, probably won't do much to attract tourists into Thailand either. And is likely a stronger deterrent than "global economic tensions".
