I just swapped my Mazda 3 in for a MU7

I really like it and prefer the drive to that of the Fortuner. And it has disc brakes all round......personally I think Fortuner is overated. I don't deny that it is a good vehicle, but it ain't perfect, that ride is just too hard and I think the cabin is too small considering the physical size of the thing.

For 40K you can get discs all round on a 'Tuner too. I guess the Mu7 has been modified.

Nope not modified standard...have to admit I was quite suprised myself as I expected the same setup as Fortuner.

But really as expensive as the Fortuner is, it should come with all round disc brakes as standard and not as a 40k option.....is the option from Toyota or TRD?
