It's news to me that Trump has a strategy.

He acts on short term impulse.

If it turns out there is at least a partly (accidental) final result from Trump's war of choice on Iran (I remain very doubtful) then that would of course be a good thing.

I'm think in terms of the end of the Mullah regime there, replaced by a more normal secular republicans government, the end of repression of the Iranian people, and normalizing relations with Israel.
