Three U.S. ex-presidents denounce the current one in a two-week stretch
You do realize that this is very similar to how US banks function, no? Customer balances are just numbers in a balance sheet backuped up by a much smaller float as mandated by the US Federal Reserve. -

Tips from anyone who’s travelled from Thailand to Latin America (Central/South America)?
Yeah, that’s been a bit of a concern for me too. It’s actually one of the reasons I’ve always avoided most of Africa, apart from a short trip to Morocco. -

Crime Drunken Foreign Tourists Assault Thai Woman, Locals Step In with Brutal Response
I would disagree that foreigners are "generally not liked and only tolerated." My has experience has been that foreigners who treat Thai people and their culture with respect are indeed liked. Those foreigners who don't respect or understand Thailand and its people are nevertheless tolerated because they represent an important source of jobs and income. It is the "flaming assh*le" foreigners who insult, cheat or abuse Thais are disliked and sometimes catch a kicking. The big problem is that many foreigners don't realize how badly they are behaving in the eyes of Thais. I witnessed this myself while living in Pattaya. Some farang in particular believe themselves they are treating Thais firmly but fairly, while the Thais regard them as creeps. This is especially true about the approach some farang take with bar girls. Cheap Charlies are seen as heros and the smartest of the smart in certain farang circles, but are mostly despised by Thais. -

It is a real ailment requiring professional and specialised support. Similarly to addictions, the first step will be for the sufferers to admit they have a problem. "Hello, I am [AN member name] and I have "Trump D******ment S******e". -

Mortgage free in order to sell a property??...my Thai family say yes...
You've not mentioned how the wife and her cousin are going to pay you back the 3 million, so one can only assume it will be from the sale of the existing property. If that is the case and the existing property has more than 3 million in equity then they could get a secured loan from the bank to purchase the new property.
