May 25, 201511 yr Has anyone heard of GALVIN Investment Research Firm based in UK ? Do you know anything about them and their 'TREND' Alert system ?
May 26, 201511 yr If it's Galvan - with an "a" - yes I've come across them. They do some quite good research, as does their sister company Faraday also in the UK. Not exactly sure how they link. Faraday does research mainly but Galvan also does some research + trading. What I didn't like is once you register for a free report they then start calling you with some brief chatting about their report before trying to move on to his sell. First guy realised he was out of his depth when called and said a senior trader would call back, next week which they did. Same story, this guy tried to sell, from different angles as well. They try and sell both the research (Faraday) and their trading (Galvin). While the research is OK I didn't think it worth my money, and the trading side - probably where TREND comes in - I'm not a fan of brokers providing me with trading signals/ automated systems etc. Typical salespeople really, so just be careful if you register for any of their "free reports" Cheers Fletch Edited May 26, 201511 yr by fletchsmile
